Add, Sort, and Manage Product Quick Keys
Access Manage Quick Keys Page
POS Dropdown> Manage Quick Keys
Rename a Quick Key Tab
- Once in Manage Quick Keys, select a tab from by either clicking the Edit icon or the name of the quick key tab. Tab names will be A, B, C, etc. until renamed.
- Enter the new name into the Tab Name field and click Update. You will see the new tab name in the drop-down menu the next time the page is refreshed.
Add a New Quick Key
- Once in Manage Quick Keys, select a tab from by either clicking the Edit icon or the name of the quick key tab.
- Click the Add button in the top right of the grid.
- Search for the product you'd like to add to your quick keys and click select or check the box next to each item and click on Add Parts.
Change the Display Order of Quick Keys
- Once in Manage Quick Keys select a tab from by either clicking the Edit icon or the name of the quick key tab.
- To move a single quick key, "grab" the part line with your mouse then drag and drop it to reorder.
- To sort alphabetically, click the Description column header.
- To move the product listing's key to a different tab, select the appropriate letter under the Move To/Delete column on the right; the current tab will not be available.
- To delete a quick key (this delete's the key only, not the product), select the trash can icon under Move To/Delete.
Change the Display Order of Quick Key Tabs in Point of Sale
- Go to POS > Manage Quick Keys
- To move a single quick key tab, "grab" the part line with your mouse then drag and drop it to reorder.
- To sort alphabetically, click the Description column header.
- Click SAVE SORT ORDER to save your changes.
Set Quick Keys to Image Display vs. Text Display
- Go to Office > Back Office Settings > Setup Options.
- Under System Defaults, turn the Default Quick Key Display setting to IMAGE. Click Update to save your changes.
Add Images to Quick Keys
- The default image for a product will display as its quick key image. You can upload an image from the part's details page or from Manage Quick Keys (POS menu > Manage Quick Keys; select the tab of the quick key).
- Click the + icon to add an image; select the provided bullet to make it the item's default image.
