Create Campaign Emails with AWS SES Credentials
The first thing you need to do is register your email
address with AWS for an SES Account. You
can do this by following the link below.
https://portal.aws.amazon.com/billing/signup#/start/email
You will need to enter card information, but the account is
free for up to 200 emails every 24 hours. You can upgrade this account to a
paid account for access to more email usage.
After setting up your account, you will need to login and
then select Security Credentials from below your name on the right-hand side.
On this screen you will want to scroll down until you see
Access Keys.
Click Create Access Key
After those credentials are entered, you will want to put
them into the POS. You can do this by going to Settings – Email Options – Under
Marketing Emails – Settings – Add New Email Settings – Select Amazon SES API
and enter the credentials received from the Access Key
Like shown below
Click save and you should receive notice that the email
configuration is working.
