Create Campaign Emails with AWS SES Credentials

The first thing you need to do is register your email address with AWS for an SES Account.  You can do this by following the link below.

https://portal.aws.amazon.com/billing/signup#/start/email

You will need to enter card information, but the account is free for up to 200 emails every 24 hours. You can upgrade this account to a paid account for access to more email usage.

After setting up your account, you will need to login and then select Security Credentials from below your name on the right-hand side.


 

On this screen you will want to scroll down until you see Access Keys.

Click Create Access Key


 

After those credentials are entered, you will want to put them into the POS. You can do this by going to Settings – Email Options – Under Marketing Emails – Settings – Add New Email Settings – Select Amazon SES API and enter the credentials received from the Access Key

Click save and you should receive notice that the email configuration is working.
