Getting Started with Setting Up Your New Orchid POS Software

A quick overview of the steps you will take, once your account is created and you're ready to log in and get started, is below.

- Navigate to the Manage drop down, store configuration to customize your software. Each Settings page has articles on options, features, and best practices.
- Set up Access Levels (permissions groups) and employee logins.
- Use the Catalog System to establish your inventory database.
- Use the Physical Inventory tool and Receive External Order to count your current inventory into Orchid POS.
- Many stores get started before or as they start on these steps. It's a fast process, but there are ways to transition without full setup in these areas.
