Loyalty Programs

Setting up a loyalty program can incentivize additional spending for your customers. The guide below will outline the basic setup of a Loyalty Program. You can setup individual programs for your needs, whether this is a standard program, or a bonus Black Friday weekend earning double points. You can tier your programs by following the instructions below. This also can be used for specific products or catered to memberships. 

 

Loyalty Setup 

      1.       In the Main POS screen you will click on the Loyalty Tab – Loyalty Setup

      2.       Enable Loyalty Program

      3.       Select what you want points to accrue with, Products, Rentals, Courses, Memberships

      4.       Name the Program

      5.       Refer to points as the singular version (point, bullet, coin etc.)

      6.       Refer to points as the plural version (points, bullets, coins etc.)

      7.       Set Expiration date of points in days

      8.       Levels will be calculated with either Points or Transactions (Use the ? for information)

      9.       If you want all new customers to be enrolled, check the box

      10.   Prompt every customer to enroll is for existing customers who have not yet enrolled

      11.   Exclude any parts from the program

      12.   Exclude full categories if wanted from the program

      13.   Enter terms and conditions for the program

      14.   Check the box to inform cashier or eligible rewards

      15.   Block Redemption for defined days, (Customer cannot use points until __ days have passed)

      16.   Allow rewards redemption in a sub-store (This is for multi-store only)

      17.   Send email notification to customer for Enrollment, Points Earned and Redemptions

      18.   Click Save


Loyalty Levels (If you wish to use tiered levels)

      1.       Click on the Loyalty Tab – Loyalty Levels

      2.       Add More – You can add as many as you wish (Diamond Status, Gold Status, Silver Status etc.)

      3.       Name the Level

      4.       Set the status (active or inactive)

      5.       Add Description

      6.       Conditional Value – This is calculated based on a summary of all transactions

      7.       Minimum Order Amount to qualify for this Level


Setup Earning Rules (this can be applied to specific levels, or your customer list)

      1.       Add Earning Rule (As many as you would like, this can be tied to specific programs or specials point earning time frames)

      2.       Name the Earning Rule

      3.       Set Status (active or inactive)

      4.       Add Description

      5.       Type is General Spending Rule by default

      6.       Set the point value – (For every dollar spent you earn 1 point)

      7.       Exclude any part numbers from earning points

      8.       Exclude whole categories from earning points

      9.       Minimum Order Value to earn points (Must spend $10 to earn points)

      10.   Set Duration – All Time Active or date range specific

      11.   Set Target Type – (Is this specific to all customers or a specific level?)

a.       If Level is selected you will need to pick the corresponding level for this rule.


Rewards Programs (Redemption)

      1.       Click on the Loyalty Tab – Select Reward Programs

      2.       Select Cash Back or Discount for the Reward

      3.       Name the Program

      4.       Add Description

      5.       Set the status (active or inactive)

      6.       If Cash Back is the reward you will need to setup the Points value

a.       EXAMPLE - For every 1 Point, it has a cash value of .05 cents

      7.       If discount is selected you need to enter the cost in points

a.       EXAMPLE – 100 Points would be the max redemption

      8.       Select Amount or Percentage for the discount

a.       Select Amount

                                                               i.      you could set 100 points = $5.00

b.       Or select Percentage

                                                               i.      you could set 100 points = 20% discount

      9.       Enter in the reward value depending on your selection in step 8

      10.   Include any Part Numbers that you will allow redemption for

      11.   Exclude any part numbers from redemption

      12.   Set the number of redemptions per customer

      13.   Set the minimum amount required to use the reward (Example $6.00)

      14.   Set the Duration of this Reward Redemption

      15.   Select Target Type

a.       Level

                                                               i.      Pick the specific level you want this redemption tied to

b.       Contact Group

                                                               i.      All customers or a Specific Contact Group you had previously setup. 

If you are interested in setting up a Specific Contact List, you can do this by following the instructions below. 

Create a Contact List
1. Click on Loyalty
2. Click on Contacts
3. Click on the General Tab
4. Filter the Contacts in the POS to who you are trying to Target

5. Click Search
6. Click Save Contact List
7. You can either add this to an existing list or create a New List

8. Name the List
9. Add details
10. Click Save
