Orchid eBound to GunBroker.com Integration with TrashPanda

If you missed our previous announcement, eBound now offers an integration with TrashPanda (via our partner Coriolis), designed specifically for FFLs operating without a Point-of-Sale system. The integration allows for the listing and sale of eBound inventory on GunBroker’s marketplace platform without the use of a POS. The integration is currently in beta and available for those interested in testing the platform. Please note, Orchid POS users will soon be able to enjoy a direct POS to GunBroker.com integration, targeted for early March.

4473 - Out of State PCS Orders

We have enhanced the 4473 to allow for the sale of a firearm when the consumer is an out of state resident with PCS orders.

Speed of Serial Number Uploads to the SNIT Tool

We learned that some clients were facing significant delays in the load of serial numbers in the ‘Create Event’ area of the Serial Number Inventory Tool (SNIT). After further research, we determined that the method use to load serial numbers was older technology which has now been modernized with limited time delay.

4473-WA SAFE Transfers to Out Of State Residents
By rearranging the State and City fields, the WA city dropdown now appears only after selecting WA as the state. For all other states, the city field remains a free-text entry.

Coming Soon

Systematic controls to delay the closure of a 4473 transaction processed in states that enforce such laws. The enhancement will include delay settings by number of days and firearm types. 

Product Visibility and Accessibility Enhancement.

Orchid eCommerce customers will now have full control over the online appearance and stock status description (i.e., pick up in store, order from warehouse, 5 in stock, etc). 

Commissions Set at a Category Level

In addition to the existing employee sales commission settings, we’ve made it possible to set sales commissions by product category. To implement this feature, navigate to Store Configuration > Employee, then toggle on "Pay Commission Based on Category" in the commission settings.

Layaway Receipts Show All Prior Deposits

Going forward, all customer layaway deposits and final payments will appear as separate line items on the receipt.

Various Label Enhancements

You can now customize store labels to suit your own preference. Navigate to the Manage > Store Options page,  where you can select size, layout, and content. And, in later February, we’ll be adding an option to toggle the display of all text to be capitalized. 

ShipStation Bug and Shipping Method Enhancement   

Previously, there were reports of orders not processing through the ShipStation integration. This issue has been resolved, and we've added an enhancement allowing multiple shipping methods to be selected at checkout.

Character Limits

The primary description fields have been expanded from 65 characters to 150 throughout Orchid POS and eComm. 

New Setting for  Receipts and Labels

You now have the option to print receipts and labels in all capital letters by default. Simply go to your store options to find individual settings for each.
