Washington SAFE Background Checks
Modifications were made to the e4473 software. For licensees using the Washington SAFE Integration, the required City and County options for Washington state are still available in a dropdown menu for Section B, but customers can now fill in the City and County on their own when selecting a state of residency other than Washington state. In addition, we removed the dropdown menu options for Country of Citizenship: "Other Country/Countries" and made the field free entry for additional flexibility.
NoFraud Integration for Online Orders
We have introduced an integration with NoFraud which vets orders for potential fraud*, and provides chargeback ‘insurance’ in the event their vetting is inaccurate. This feature provides an additional layer of validation for online orders, helping identify and reduce fraudulent activity while offering greater confidence in transaction processing.
You can find this integration by navigating Online > Configure Checkout > Sales, Tax and Terms. (*Subscription offered separately through NoFraud. Terms Apply)
Manual Review for High-Value Orders Prior to Fulfillment
You can now choose to manually review payments for online orders above a user-defined amount, using a new toggle in Checkout settings. This feature provides best-in-class levels of fraud control when combined with other controls offered by FAPS and NoFraud.
Bug Fix
Package Sale Price Display
Sale prices for product packages now display correctly on the online listing page alongside retail prices, giving customers clear and accurate pricing.
Recent or Upcoming Go-Lives
Customer Card Tracking and Whitelisting
POS users now have the ability to review failed credit card transaction logs and whitelist shoppers who were previously blocked after multiple failure attempts. Additionally, IP addresses are automatically cleared after successful payment attempts, reducing manual intervention. Card tracking and whitelisting can be found in the ‘retail customers’ section of the POS.
Catalog Enhancements
- Sync Selected Products Only - The catalog sync tool has been enhanced to provide greater control over product updates. Users can now choose to sync only existing products, preventing unintended additions and allowing for more precise catalog management.
- Auto Update MAP and MSRP - You can now automatically update MAP and MSRP pricing from the catalog to your POS with no manual effort. When enabled, pricing will be refreshed every Monday to keep your system accurate and up to date. This feature is optional and is in the catalog manager.
RSR Purchase Order Processing Improvements
Enhanced the RSR integration to improve reliability and visibility of purchase order processing. Order status has been improved to provide clearer feedback when an order does not complete successfully. Additional validation has been added for drop ship firearm orders, including a required FFL field to help ensure successful submission.
Further improvements to the RSR process are planned for the upcoming development sprint.
Reconciliation “Progress Bar”
We fixed an issue where reconciliation reports appeared to stop progressing even though processing was still ongoing. The progress indicator bar and status indicator has been improved to better reflect actual processing activity, providing clearer visibility into report completion.
Note – The POS / A&D reconciliation reports are provided to help users remain ATF compliant. Users who circumvent existing controls or enter firearms directly to eBound (going around the POS) can create potential violations. The reconciliation report is a very important tool for identifying such discrepancies. If you’re unsure how to properly correct firearm discrepancies, please contact our support team.
Product Search Immediately After Creation
We addressed a timing issue where newly created products were not immediately searchable due to indexing delays. A new “Search from Database” option has been introduced, allowing users to locate and access newly created items right away, even before the search index is fully updated. This provides a smoother workflow when creating and managing products in real time.
Quick Add Customer Enhancements
The Quick Add Customer workflow has been enhanced to include State and Expiration Date fields within the driver’s license section. When scanning an ID, these fields are now automatically populated, reducing manual entry and improving accuracy. The captured information is saved correctly and remains consistent across customer records and transactions.
Store-to-Store (STS) Transfer Improvements
Improved the reliability of store-to-store transfers by resolving issues that could cause transfers to become stuck in a “Held for Transfer” status or be interrupted by unnecessary alternate vendor prompts.
Transfers now complete smoothly using the correct vendor, with accurate updates to purchase order status, received quantities, and inventory records. Reporting and logs have also been improved to provide clearer visibility into transfer activity.
We will be continuing to make improvements to the STS process in the upcoming sprint.
Bug Fixes
Improved Navigation in Minimized View - Top navigation is now fully accessible even on minimized or smaller screens, enhancing usability across all display sizes.
- Inbound Transfer Cancellation - Cancelled inbound transfers without transactions no longer get archived, allowing items to be reassigned or updated as needed.
- Report Builder Salesperson Accuracy - Reports now correctly show the assigned salesperson, fixing cases where “N/A” was previously displayed.
