Release Overview

Q2S07.23 provides enhancements/updates to the following:
  1. User Access - Ability to Archive/Disable Users *New*
  2. User Access - Streamline of "Edit Users" Screen
  3. 4473 Kiosk User
  4. Overall eBound Usability - Bound Book Search
  5. Overall eBound Usability - 'Add Firearm' Triggered by Hitting 'Enter'

User Access – Ability to Archive/Disable Users *New*

Company Admins now have the ability to archive/disable eBound users in the “Manage Users” screen. Please note that archiving a user does not delete any of their historical transactions (e.g. 4473s, Multiple Sales Forms, standard eBound transactions, Notes, audit and corrections log). A user can be reactivated in the same screen to resume eBound access. The default view in the Manage Users screen is now active users, but the User Status can be toggled to include archived users.

User Access – Streamline of “Edit Users” Screen

We have streamlined the “Edit Users” screen to simplify granting user access. The screen is now split into three tabs – Edit User, eBound Access and IM Access. On the “eBound Access” tab, permissions can be applied to a single Bound Book or across all Books. We have also updated the eBound permissions to mirror the Dashboard sections.

4473 Kiosk User

We have tightened the controls around the “Kiosk User” option found under “Edit Users”. When “Kiosk User” is checked, the user will only have access to the e4473 (Transfer Section B) screen. Any back buttons hit or attempts to enter another eBound URL manually are blocked.

All Bound Book searches (e.g. Search / Query, Multi-Book Search) can now be triggered by clicking ‘Enter’ in addition to clicking on the ‘search’ button.

Overall eBound Usability – ‘Add Firearm’ Triggered By Hitting ‘Enter’

Throughout all eBound transactions, clicking ‘Enter’ now follows the same logic as if a user clicked on “Add Firearm” in single serial number or batch serial number processing. For single serial number entry, the user’s cursor must be in the “Confirm Serial Number” box when clicking ‘enter’. For this to work for Batch Serial Number processing, the user’s cursor must be in the “Quantity” box. This is not available for Batch Import at this time.
