Orchid Firearm Sales Portal
The following two updates were released in this sprint:
· Sales Admins can now block the creation of new orders to selected dealers.
· The sales order table can be filtered by order status.
Orchid eBound
Several Enhancements to Orchid IM
· A new feature was added for the retention of inventory audits of firearms held with personnel on or off site. Now located inside of the Orchid IM portal, users will find a feature called “IM Storage” that allows for the upload of the Attestation Sheet and an image of the firearm serial number.
· The Quick Assignment feature has been completely rebuilt. Users will find a second link labeled “(Beta)”, that increases the quality of transactions while making the assignment process much easier.
· Previously, corrections to serial numbers in Orchid eBound did not update the SN in Orchid IM. This integration enhancement has been made.
· The Orchid eBound “Upload Transactions” tool has been enhanced to now include assignment by location for newly acquired firearms.
· A fourth, and higher level of firearm assignment has been added to Orchid IM. The new level is called a Department Lead and allows a user to specify a range of firearms under the responsibility of a department. For example, in a company that has a large volume of 2010-1 temporary assignments, X# of firearms can now be assigned under the responsibility of the VP of Sales, or a Regional Vice President. This added level of responsibility does not replace or interfere with the recording of the physical assignment (i.e,. firearm is with salesperson John Doe).
Multiple Sales Form Aging Alert
In early April, we released a new MSF Aging Alert, for forms that were accidentally not filed. Due to a required rollback of the code, this feature was removed at that time and has been reintroduced in this release.
90 Day FFL Expiration Popup
The warning message indicating that an FFL will expire in 90 days has been changed to 30 days. In addition, the user can easily update the expiration directly from the popup.
API Error Log Notification eMails
The error log notification email box has been modified to allow multiple emails. Simple add more emails, separated by a comma.
Orchid eCommerce
$0 Retail Product Visibility
You can now choose to hide products with $0 retail value from being displayed online under the product visibility settings.
Expanded Title Limit
Product titles on your website can now support up to 250 characters, giving you more flexibility to describe items.
FFL/SOT Upload at Checkout
eCommerce shoppers can now upload FFL and/or SOT documents during checkout, which will be passed through to the corresponding invoice. A future enhancement will allow these documents to automatically transfer into eBound eDocs
Fixed Sidebar
Users had reported that when shoppers landed on a product category page, that the side bar holding the product filters would expand, filling up a large volume of the page. This has now been set to a fixed width, eliminating the issue.
FFL Ship to Destination in Fulfillment
During the pending gun sale or invoice fulfillment process, users can now change the FFL ship to destination to accommodate client requests.
Puerto Rico FFL’s in FFL Finder
The FFL finder now supports Puerto Rico zip codes, improving checkout accuracy.
Product Titles Now Use H1 Tags
All product titles on eComm pages have been updated to use H1 tags, enhancing search engine optimization and aligning with SEO best practices.
Bug Fix:
· The ship to FFL address is now showing on customer receipts when order is placed online.
· The "Disable $0 Sales" setting has been moved to the Visibility and Availability section and will now automatically hide items with a $0 online price.
· Fixed an issue where FFL addresses were incorrectly auto-populating in customer credit card fields during checkout on the website.

GunBroker - Return to the Same Credit Card
Users can now return a transaction to the same card as used by the consumer during GunBroker.com checkout.
ShipStation for In-Store Shipments
We’ve added ShipStation integration for use with in-store transactions requiring shipment to 3rd party destinations. This enhancement builds on our existing ShipStation integration to eCommerce and is currently in BETA. If you’d like early access, please contact our support team.
NICS/State Approval Toggle: A new option allows you to require users to enter a NICS or state approval number before completing a firearm purchase invoice. This setting is available in your store options.
QuickBooks Enhancements: Improvements have been made to support restocking fee handling within QuickBooks.
Drop Shipping for B2B Customers
Added the ability to drop ship special orders directly to B2B customers from the invoice page, streamlining order fulfillment.
Cash Drawer Deletion Now Restricted
Users can no longer delete cash drawers directly. Deletions now require assistance from our development team to ensure proper mapping of pending transactions. This enhancement is designed to eliminate the creation of ‘orphaned’ invoices associated with legacy cash drawers which inadvertently affects accounting reports.
Bug Fixes
· Blocked Serial Numbers: Fixed an issue where blocked serial numbers (e.g., on layaway or reserve) were incorrectly showing as available online.
· Gift Card Override: The manager override for gift cards is now functioning correctly.
· Invoice template: Fixed an issue that prevented changes to the invoice template from being saved successfully.
· Contact Merging: Fixed an issue whereby the merging of contacts created visibility issues in other POS functions.
· Variant Search: Fixed an issue that caused the variant column to remain stuck and hide/move properly.
· Layaway Inventory: Resolved an issue where layaways converted to invoices could still have items delivered through the layaway record, instead of through the completed invoice.
Coming Soon:
· Our Avalara tax integration is entering the final testing phase and will soon be shared with our beta focus group.
· Advanced Coupon Controls: We’re working on new options to customize coupon stacking and behavior at checkout.

Orchid eSerial ERP Integration
A modification was made to the eSerial API endpoint that collects confirmed and serialized firearms. The new feature captures serial numbers by production work orders and makes available a ‘webhook’ that will allow ERP platforms such as NetSuite to poll eSerial and capture all of the firearms marked on a single production workorder.
