Orchid eBound
Washington SAFE Program Update
The caliber field in Section A of the e4473 has been adjusted to only allow 15 characters if the Washington Safe Integration is enabled on your bound book. This is to comply with the 15-character caliber limitation from the Department of Licensing.
Trace Update
We have added a pop-up warning for serial numbers that are not found in the Trace to display the serial numbers that are not found.
Paper 4473 Transaction Update
After some additional feedback, we have altered the Paper 4473 Transaction. If you would like to use Custom 4473 Transaction Numbers for your Paper 4473 Transactions, you will now find a toggle in the Account Settings named Custom Paper 4473 Numbers. Activating this will allow you to enter in your own 4473 Transaction Number, and this will record in the disposition of the serial entry in the Search Queries Page. This will also record in the In-Process and Complete Page and be searchable with the 4473 ID Filter. If you do not activate this toggle, you will be unable to record your own Paper 4473 Transaction Number in the disposition. The disposition will only record the Customer's Name and Address and the Date. If there is a mistake where a custom 4473 number is needed in the disposition, the ability to use the Single Correct Tool is available with the 4473 Field.
eBound Header Update
We have updated our header bar to include a dropdown for your bound book selection. This will allow you to switch the book you are transacting in, instead of going to your menu to set a different book. You will still be able to view different books, than the book you are transacting in, in the In-Process and Complete page and in the Multiple Sale Forms page. You will notice that those bound book dropdowns are named "Set FFL / Book to View".
Orchid eSerial
We have created a new endpoint for Orchid eSerial that will allow a callback to Orchid eBound to verify if the serial numbers have been received in the bound book prior to marking them. The information for this API Endpoint can be found here.

Report Builder Update
Sold Price has been added as a column to the Report Builder. This will allow you to see the standard Retail Price for that item, and the Sold Price that was on the Invoice.
Inventory Valuation Report Update
The filters found in the Select Parts to Order page have been added as filters to the Inventory Valuation Reports. You can now filter the data prior to looking at the Inventory Valuation report to ensure you are only receiving the results that you want to see, instead of all of the inventory that was sold or received in that date range.
Template and Export Updates
We have updated all of our templates in the POS to a new format. These updates will make all of the templates more uniform, they will now be identified with Blue Headers for all required fields, and will have the same layout and font across each template. We have also enhanced the Customer Export to include the total dollar amount spent.
FFL Transfer Update
In the main POS Screen you will now see that all FFL Transfers listed in the FFL XTR Button now include the FFL Number that matches the FFL Name for easier matching.
Special Order and Online Invoice Update
Special orders and Online Invoices will now allow you to individually deliver items from the invoices. This will automatically prompt for each serial number if there are multiple firearms in the invoice, and include them all on the same Pending Gun Sale.
Layaway Update
Serial numbers will now be included on the Layaway Receipt upon creation instead of just at completion.
Email Settings Update
In settings - Email Settings you will now see that there is the ability to send a test email for each template created.
Catalog Update
We are currently working on enhancing our catalogs, but we have now hyperlinked a FAQ page to the Catalog Page.
eCommerce Search Bar Update
The Search bars on the Products pages of our native eCommerce websites have been enhanced to use partial matching Part numbers and keywords instead of exact Part Number or UPC matches.
eCommerce Out of Stock Update
In the CPanel you will now find an additional Flag in Preferences that will allow you to still display items that are out of stock, this will display an "Out of Stock!" message on the Products Page, and "Currently Unavailable" when looking at that items detail page.
