Orchid eState

 

Orchid eState™ now supports restriction checks for ammunition. The enhanced database evaluates whether ammunition can be shipped to a purchaser, identifies any special permitting requirements, and verifies legality within the purchaser’s jurisdiction. Coverage includes all 50 states and numerous localities.

Inventory Management (IM) Enhancements
Recent updates to Inventory Management (IM) include the following improvements:
  1. Auto-Assignment of Serial Numbers: IM-specific fields in eBound upload templates now automatically assign serial numbers during import.
  2. Bulk Import Tool: A new bulk import tool has been introduced to simplify and accelerate data entry.
  3. Serial Number Sync: Corrections made to serial numbers in eBound will now automatically sync with IM, ensuring consistent and accurate records across systems.

 

Customer, Vendor, and Part Master Enhancements
We’ve continued to optimize performance across the Customer, Vendor, and Part Master modules. Recent updates have improved search functionality, field creation, and load speeds—resulting in near-instant responsiveness.

Multiple Sales Form (MSF) Workflow Update
To streamline compliance, the system now automatically routes users to the MSF screen during the 4473 process. The previous prompt asking whether to generate the form has been removed, ensuring the MSF is completed and submitted without interruption.

SNIT: Serial Number Inventory Tool Improvements
When closing a location, the system now performs a check for off-book serial numbers. Any discrepancies are flagged in red, trigger an audible alert, and require user review—helping prevent errors caused by incorrect UPCs or misplaced scans.

API Filter Enhancements
The API Error Log now includes advanced filtering by transaction type (e.g., Transfer, Destroy, etc.), allowing for faster identification and resolution of issues.

Coupon Usage Limits
A new configuration option is now available under Online > Engage Customers > Coupon Codes, allowing you to limit the number of coupons a customer can redeem per transaction. Use this feature to align coupon behavior with your promotional strategy.

Solr-Powered Website Search
Your site search is now powered by Solr, delivering faster, more accurate keyword results. This enhancement improves product discoverability and provides a smoother, more efficient shopping experience for your customers.

Website Speed Improvements
We’ve implemented backend optimizations to enhance overall site performance. Users will experience noticeably faster load times and more responsive navigation across your webstore.

Bug Fixes

  1. Package Visibility: Resolved an issue where product packages were incorrectly displayed as out of stock. Inventory is now accurately reflected based on the availability of included items.
  2. Consignment Visibility: Fixed a bug that prevented consignment items from honoring website visibility settings. These products now properly follow your configured display rules.

We’re excited to welcome Davidson’s and Camfour to our list of live vendor integrations! Contact Support to activate your real-time product feed and streamline your inventory updates.

Serial Number Assignment for Special Orders
You can now assign a serial number to a special order without marking the item as delivered. This enhancement helps reserve inventory and prevent duplicate sales or disposition errors.

Expanded Access Controls
New user access permissions are now available to provide greater control and security across your system:

  1. QuickBooks integration access
  2. Third-party integration access
  3. Discount and sales permissions
  4. Inventory quantity adjustments
  5. Item cost visibility controls 

A/R Report Enhancements
Accounts Receivable reports for Retail and B2B accounts now support sorting by customer or business name. Additionally, customers with a $0 balance are automatically excluded for a cleaner, more focused view.

 

Receiver Document

When a Purchase Order is partially or fully received, a new Receiver Document is available from the PO Actions dropdown. This document shows only the items received—offering a clear, accurate snapshot of incoming inventory.

 

GunBroker Invoice Improvements
We’ve refined invoice formatting for GunBroker orders. Fees and shipping charges now appear in the subtotal and tax section rather than as separate line items—making invoices cleaner and easier to read.

 

Automated NLA Updates
Products will now be automatically marked as NLA (No Longer Available) or archived based on changes to our master catalog. These updates are applied weekly and require no manual action. Products with remaining inventory will remain active until sold out.
