Release Q2S9.22 Overview

Orchid POS v1.34b is considered a minor release.  The features and bug fixes listed below will be deployed to production environment by Friday evening.  The highlights from the release are below. 

External Order Date Received: 
Previously the external order function did allow the user to backdate the receipt.  We have added the field, “Date Received” that will allows users to adjust the date of receipt. 

Gunsmithing Return to Manufacturer/Vendor:  

Many customers have requested the ability to do a return to a vendor or manufacturer from inside the Gunsmithing module.  In the current release users can click the “truck” icon to initiate a return.

ATF EZ Check Connection

Originally when users added a new FFL to the POS they would have to manually enter all of the licensee information.  With this release, users can now enter the FFL Name in the name box and the Orchid POS will display the relevant licensees in the search box.

Bug Fixes

Layaway – We identified an issue with the Orchid POS layaway function.  When the layaway was a saved, it could be erroneously marked as a special order. 

Gift Card – There was an issue with the Gift Card serial number function.  This has been fixed.
