Overview - Release Q3S15.22
Orchid POS v1.34.15 is considered a minor release. The features and bug fixes listed below will be deployed to production environment by Friday evening. The highlights from the release are below.
New Feature
Serial Number Lookup
Previously, a user would have to generate a multiple sales report if they wanted to know the part number or history associated with a serial number. Users can now use the lookup screen in the POS main menu to review the part number and history of a serial number in one location.Enhanced Import tools
Orchid POS has three types of contacts, customers, vendors, and FFLs. Previously, only customers could be imported. In the latest release, we have added several new objects to the import tool library. Users can now bulk upload FFLs, gift certificate balances and vendors.
Bug Fixes
We continue to improve the AmmoReady Integration and have updated the following:
Reports – The POS reports have been updated to reflect the correct parent categories. The remaining items related to the parent-child categories will be fixed in the coming weeks.
Duplicated Categories – The Orchid POS system was incorrectly duplicating categories pushed from Orchid POS to AmmoReady. Only new and unique categories will be added to the AmmoReady system going forward.
