Release Overview

Q3S16.23 provides enhancements/updates to the following:
  • Additional 4473 Section B Review Toggle *New*
  • 4473 Enhancements – Updated Hard Stop for Denied Customers
  • 4473 Enhancements – Question 21.n.1 & 21.n.2
  • 4473 Enhancements – Question 35
  • eSerial Enhancements
  • Correction Tool Update
  • eStorage Enhancements

Additional 4473 Section B Review Toggle *New!*

We have added a 2nd 4473 Section B review toggle to allow the review to occur before or after the Prohibiting Questions (Question 21).

4473 Enhancements – Updated Hard Stop for Denied Customers

Currently, eBound does not allow a buyer to complete a firearm sale if they are deemed a “Prohibited Person.” This release enhances that workflow such that, once denied, the licensee is immediately taken to the end of Section C where they will sign the 4473 and post the canceled transaction to their list of completed 4473s.

4473 Enhancements – Question 21.n.1 & 21.n.2

Question 21.n.1 and 21.n.2 have been updated to only be shown if the customer fills out a Foreign Country for the place of birth in Question 11.

4473 Enhancements – Question 35

We have moved the “Accept” button to the right side of the Signature field to eliminate the ability to accidentally hit the “Clear Signature” button.

eSerial Enhancements

We have significantly reduced the processing time for a new serial number range.

Correction Tool Update

The serial number lookup will begin after the first character is entered rather than after the 2nd character.

eStorage Enhancements

We have made Document Expiration Date required when adding a new document and SOT Expiration Date required when adding a SOT. SOT Control Number and SOT Expiration Date will now be shown on the eStorage main screen for SOTs.
