4473 Signature Update
Users at the store (not the customer) can now add a signature to Section E without requiring customer recertification.
Form Corrections
When a form is corrected, the In-Process and Complete screens will now display the updated data instead of the original information.
New Report
Within the ATF Traces function, you will now see an option to pull in all previous ATF traces performed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where notes were recording with the wrong timestamp.

- 4473 eStorage Enhancements: Ability to remove a firearm from a 4473 in process
- The 30-day restriction and inability to backdate forms will be removed, allowing customers to complete forms they may have forgotten to sign.

Product Filters
We’ve enhanced the way product filters work on both shop and product group pages. You can now enable or disable filters individually for each product group or apply settings globally through product display options.
Filters are also now dynamic, they’ll only display options relevant to the products currently shown. As you apply more filters, the available options automatically narrow, helping you find exactly what you’re looking for with less clutter and greater efficiency.
Replaced the Twitter logo across all sites and added the TikTok icon.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where trade-ins were displaying negative amounts in invoice totals within the Sales Tax Summary report.
Coming Soon
Upcoming Update to Live Vendor Quantities- We will soon be updating live vendor quantity settings so that items with fewer than 3 units in stock willavailable for purchase online.[GU1] [KL2] [GU3] This improvement helps prevent situations where a customer completes a transaction for an item that may have already sold out.
Please note: This change applies only to eCommerce. Products will remain available to order through the POS system regardless of quantity.

Important Notice Regarding Vendor Assignments
Announcement
- Assigning vendors to inventory during go-live
- Setting preferred vendors
- Selecting vendors during purchase order (PO) creation
- Mapping vendors during catalog sync
- Managing vendor data in live inventory feeds and automated POs
Recently, we’ve identified instances where duplicate vendor records have been created (e.g., “Lipseys” vs. “Lipsey’s”). These duplicates can cause disruptions in several key processes, particularly in live inventory feeds and automated purchase orders.
To address this, we are introducing dedicated vendors in Orchid POS. For example, there will only be one “Live Lipsey’s Vendor,” and the contact record for Lipsey’s will be clearly designated in our database. This designation will be handled automatically in the system, with no action is required on your part.
Once implemented, this change will:
- Simplify vendor selection – Ex: When syncing a vendor catalog (e.g., Lipsey’s) to your POS, you will no longer need to manually select from a vendor drop-down list.
- Eliminate mapping errors – Reducing the risk of inaccurate vendor inventory statuses and ensuring automated purchase orders function correctly.
In addition, over the coming weeks we will conduct a system-wide vendor cleanup to remove duplicate records:
- Vendors without associated transactions will be safely removed without requiring your involvement.
- If we identify duplicate vendors that both have associated transactions, our team will contact you to review and approve the resolution process. In most cases, no action will be required on your end.
We appreciate your cooperation as we enhance vendor management in Orchid POS. These improvements are designed to streamline your workflows, reduce errors, and make the system more efficient and effective.

RSR Live Vendor Feeds – Updated Credential Requirements
RSR live vendor feeds now require both FTP and API credentials to function at their full capacity.

- FTP credentials are necessary for the Catalog and Inventory sections.
- API credentials are required for the Store and Dropship Order sections.
Please contact RSR directly to obtain these credentials. Once entered, allow up to 4 hours for the system to fully sync.
Receipts
Layaway balances will now appear on receipt printouts. This update is in addition to the standard 8.5x11 receipt.
ShipStation Integration
Customer shipping addresses are no longer required for FFL transfers.
Advanced Search (Magnifying Glass)
The advanced search feature now includes consignments.
Out of Stock Alerts in PO Creation
Previously, if any item in a live vendor PO was out of stock, the system only displayed a general alert. Now, the alert will identify the specific item(s) that are out of stock.
New Report
The STS Gross Margin Report is now available for multi-store users.
GunBroker
- Auto Relist Until Quantity Runs Out is now live in BETA and will be moving to production soon.
- Scheduled Listing Times: GunBroker’s system operates on EST. Please adjust your listing times accordingly.

Improved house account handling when Pay Later is enabled to ensure credit limits are applied as expected.
