Website Product Inventory Update
Products with fewer than two units available from live vendor feeds will no longer be available for purchase online. This change helps prevent situations where customers buy items marked “in stock” only to discover the inventory was depleted
Products with fewer than two units available from live vendor feeds will no longer be available for purchase online. This change helps prevent situations where customers buy items marked “in stock” only to discover the inventory was depleted
before checkout. This restriction applies only to online sales and does not affect POS transactions.
Registration Login Setting
Under Site Title and Analytics, you can now require customers to log in before accessing shopping pages.
Automated Fulfillment Settings Relocated
Your Live Vendor Settings (Highest Margin / Preferred Vendor) have been moved from Product Availability and Visibility to:
Online > Configure Checkout > Automated Fulfillment
Reminder: Automated Fulfillment must still be turned ON under Store Options for this feature to work.
Camfour Now a Preferred Vendor
Camfour has been added to the list of available preferred vendors.
Toggle Added for Product Group Based Filters
We’ve added a setting to enable or disable product group filters. Customers can now refine their search within a specific product group, making it quicker and easier to find exactly what they need based on the groups you’ve set up

Important Notice Regarding Vendor Assignments
Orchid POS is improving vendor management by introducing dedicated vendor records to prevent duplicate entries (e.g., “Lipseys” vs. “Lipsey’s”) that disrupt inventory feeds and automated POs.
Key Benefits:
· Simplified vendor selection – No manual vendor choice needed during catalog sync.
· Fewer mapping errors – More accurate inventory statuses and reliable automated PO processing.
Vendor Cleanup:
· Duplicate vendors with no transactions are being safely removed.
· If duplicates with transactions exist, our team will contact you for review (usually no action required).
Cleanup is already underway and all stores are expected to be completed in the coming weeks. These changes will streamline workflows, reduce errors, and make the system more efficient. For any questions, please reach out to Orchid Support.
Updates:
GunBroker-Unpaid Orders
GunBroker orders that are not fully paid within the GunBroker interface will now appear in the Sales Order/Layaway section of your POS. This applies to auctions and transactions paid by cash, check, or money order.
Hold Pending Gun Sales
New store option prevents closing a Pending Gun Sale while an open 4473 exists.
Live Vendor Invalid Credentials
Red notification bubble now appears on the Integration page if credentials are invalid. (Updates may take up to 4 hours to sync after correction.)
Davidson’s Login Credentials
We have hardcoded a number of fields for you to make sign in easier. Davidson’s will need to approve your account prior to using the integration. If you would like to get started with Davidson’s, contact our support team for assistance.
RSR Live Vendor Feeds – Updated Credential Requirements
RSR live vendor feeds now require both FTP and API credentials to function at their full capacity.

- FTP credentials are necessary for the Catalog and Inventory sections.
- API credentials are required for the Store and Dropship Order sections.
Please contact RSR directly to obtain FTP credentials. API credentials are the same as the website credentials you currently use.
Inbound Transfer, Import Field
New drop-down selector ensures importers from your table editor are used correctly.
Work Order Builder
This has been removed and replaced with the work order form.
Bug Fixes
- Consignment agreements now correctly display consignment prices.
- “All-in-one” popup now opens even without a pending layaway.
- Gunbroker sales now correctly show cost in the Sales Tally Report.
