Manufacturer Name Correction Enhancement
Resolved an issue where attempting to correct a manufacturer name triggered a duplicate serial number warning, even when the record being edited was a closed disposition. The correction tool has been updated to allow users to modify these fields as long as the change does not create another on-hand firearm with the same serial number and manufacturer within the same A&D Book.
Multi-Book Pagination
Pagination has been added to the Multi-Book Search feature, improving performance and usability for large accounts searching across numerous serial numbers.
IM Inventory Search
Serial number searches will now return results only from the selected book, ensuring more accurate and focused search results.
Orchid eCommerce
Website Product Inventory Update
Products showing fewer than two available units from live vendor feeds will now be hidden from the online storefront. This enhancement prevents customers from purchasing items marked as “in stock” when the inventory has already been depleted. This rule applies only to eCommerce sales and does not impact POS transactions.

You can now click anywhere on a product tile to open its full listing (not just the product title).

Important Note – Careful Use of ?admin for SN Management
It has come to our attention that some clients are using the “?admin” override feature to correct serial numbers. Please note, this hidden feature was only created as a last resort to address any serial number entry errors that caused lack of parity between Orchid POS and eBound.
It was not intended to correct serial numbers that have been attached to a transaction. Such use can have a negative impact on your serialized inventory and ability to complete in-process transactions.
For example, if an incorrect serial number is assigned to a consignment, layaway, register transaction or other type of transaction, the ?admin should never be used to process the correction. Doing so breaks the linkage between the Order and Inventory tables, abandoning both the transaction and the serial number.
The following are the only excepted means for making such a correction. Please contact our help desk if you have any further questions.
- Process #1
- Remove the product from the transaction.
- Once complete and saved, use the ?admin to correct the SN
- Add the product back to the transaction and select the SN
- Process #2
- Remove the SN from the transaction
- Select any other available SN for that product
- Once complete and saved, use the ?admin to correct the SN
- Go into the transaction and remove the selected SN and select the intended SN
- Process #3
- Cancel the transaction
- Correct the SN
- Start a new transaction
GunBroker-Antique Firearms
A new setting has been added to the integration login screen that allows you to exclude FFL requirements for antique firearms. This gives you control over how antique firearms are listed on GunBroker.
Updates to Manage Inventory
- Search Results: Searching by caliber (and other fields) now returns accurate, filtered results. For example, searching for “9mm” will no longer display unrelated calibers such as 7.62x39mm.
- Sorting: Vendor sorting now organizes alphabetically (e.g., Aero Precision and Sports South display in proper order).
Bug Fixes
Reconciliation Report
When a workorder is marked complete from the drop down it will show on the reconciliation report until the workorder is closed.
Cancelled Gunsmithing orders will not show on the reconciliation report.
