Release Overview

Q4S21.22 provides enhancements/updates to the following areas:
  1. Orchid eStorage – New Fields
  2. Standard Transactions – New Fields
  3. eBound Search Queries – New Fields
  4. Updated the /ezcheck API Endpoint – New Fields
  5. Updated the /queue API Endpoint – New Fields
  6. Updated the /ezcheck API Endpoint to Provide Pagination and Single FFL Search

Orchid eStorage - New Fields

Two new fields have been added to the Orchid eStorage screen - Transaction Number and NFA Form Control Number. Both fields are free form entry with a 25 character maximum. Please note that NFA Form Control Number is greyed out unless the user selects ATF Form 2, 3, 4, 5 or 9 from the Document Type.


Standard Transactions - New Fields

We have added four additional data fields to the right of Purpose on the FFL Transfer and Exempt Transfer screens. Any input to these fields can be found in the eBound Search “Additional Columns” area and the related Excel export.

  1. NFA Form Control Number
  2. NFA Form Type (Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, Form 5, Form 9)
  3. SOT Control Number
  4. SOT Expiration Date

eBound Search Queries - New Fields

The following search options are now available in the Search / Query, On-Hand Firearms, On-Hand Firearms (NFA) and Multi-Book Search screens. These fields are available in the “Additional Columns” option, the Export data option and the Advanced Search dropdown.

  • Location
  • Sublocation
  • NFA Form Control Number
  • NFA Form Type
  • SOT Control Number
  • SOT Expiration Date
  • Transaction Note


Updated the /ezcheck API Endpoint - New Fields

The following fields have been added to the /ezcheck API endpoint to pull NFA and SOT information from Orchid eStorage to your host ERP / POS or eCommerce platform. 

  1. NFA Form Control Number
  2. NFA Form Type
  3. SOT Control Number
  4. SOT Expiration Date
  5. Transaction Note


Updated the /queue API Endpoint - New Fields

The following fields have been added to the /ezcheck API endpoint to post information from your ERP / POS or eCommerce platform to the Orchid eBound Book. 

  • NFA Form Control Number
  • NFA Form Type (Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, Form 5, Form 9)
  • SOT Control Number
  • SOT Expiration Date
  • Department
  • Sublocation
  • Transaction Note 
  • Purpose (Repair, Return, Gunsmith, Inbound Transfer, Outbound Transfer, Trade In, Consignment, Outside Processing) 
  • UPC



The existing API feed which allows users to pull the ATF Ez-Check list, their Orchid eStorage and Customer Master data has been enhanced to provide both pagination or a single ffl search. Both enhancements should significantly decrease the time to pull data.
