Firearm Law Library and Rosters
The Firearm Law Library and Rosters area has been completely rebuilt and now includes over 1,000 pages of every state law found in the ATF’s “State Laws and Published Ordinances” publications.
Orchid Armor Piercing Ammo Book (APAB)
Manage License and Book
This feature has been updated to automatically populate licenses from a live ATF EZ Check feed. In addition, users will be automatically provided an API key without the need to request it from support.
APAB API Enhancement
The API has been updated to permit the send of product and license data without the need to pre-populate the in-application master data tables. This change allows the user to rely upon the master data functions which reside within their own host application (i.e., their ERP or POS).
Orchid eBound
Access to POS/ERP and Automated Backup API keys
Effective with this release, new users will no longer need to request an API key from the Orchid support team. These API keys, used for connectivity to the daily backup service and third party ERP/POS applications, can be found in your Create/Modify FFL and Bound Book. Note, if you created a book prior to this release, an API key will not appear without a request from our support team.
Permit the use of hyphens
We have updated ever instance of the FFL data field throughout the application to permit entry with or without hyphens.
Access to New Bound Books
Previously, if a user created a new bound book, they would need to update their user access settings to obtain permission to see and use the book. This change automatically provides the user with access to the new book.
