Release Overview
Q1S02.23 provides the following enhancements/updates:
Uniform Sign-On - New Feature
In an effort to continuously streamline the integration between Orchid POS and Orchid eBound, we’ve implemented a unifirm sign-on process. Effective immediately, all users logging into the POS will be simultaneously logged into Orchid eBound. Should the user sign out of POS or change users (i.e., at a shift change), the accompanied Orchid eBound user will also change without any manual intervention. The result of this feature creates a seamless and uniform log-on.
Orchid eBound Feedback Loop
We have added two features to help POS users identify possible issues with serialized inventory transactions. These issues sometimes arise when a user makes an inadvertent error in the regulated characteristics of the firearm that might not match or sync between the POS inventory and bound book inventory.
The first provides an instant popup warning on the left hand side of the screen with any serial numbers whose transactions did not post to the bound book as intended. The second is a report which can then be viewed (at that time or the end of the day) to identify unplanned errors.
The popup is now live for all users and the report can be found using the link called API Error Logs.
